What I was amazed at in Paris was the way people spend
their free time.
People from near and afar head out to get
as much sun as they can, water in one hand, mobile
phones(can be subsituted by daily papers, baguettes, great fictions,
diaries, sketchbooks, letter pads, and hands of significant
others) in the other.
What's great about this, is that people
from different social standings(well it's not likely
that royals and capitalists with unlimited fortunes
will be spotted lying around in their bikinis and Speedos though)
are able to enjoy the
same type of activities as entertainment purposes.
It's the same thing
as what they eat.
It's quite usual to see people munching on
hand (on site)made sandwiches which they make out on the
piazzas and open spaces.

This probably leads to people not feeling too bad about
themselves for not being gifted enough.
Although I can be wrong.
But that you dont's see
and feel much living in Japan.
